This Pride month, we come together across the UK with a shared commitment to inclusion, compassion, and equality, under the unifying message that Pride is for all of us.
It’s a time to celebrate the diversity of our LGBTQ+ colleagues, patients, and communities, while recognising that true equality in healthcare means ensuring every voice is heard, respected, and valued.
Within Thames Valley and the NHS, Pride is more than a moment of celebration - it reflects our core values of respect, dignity, and providing care for all, regardless of identity.
We honour the contributions of LGBTQ+ staff and reaffirm our commitment to creating safe, inclusive environments where everyone can be their authentic selves, both at work and when accessing care.
As we mark Pride this year, we also acknowledge the ongoing work needed to reduce health inequalities and improve outcomes for LGBTQ+ people. Together, we stand in solidarity, champion inclusion, and continue building Thames Valley and a society that truly works for all of us.
